A World Record Attempt

The boys at the Amato's Bakery came up with a new way to bake bread after we were chosen to provide the bread for the World's Longest Lobster Roll.

Part of a Guinness World Record attempt that's all for charity this Sunday at the Old Port Festival in our hometown of Portland, Maine.

Read about it here.

Amato's opens two new stores

Amato's is proud to announce the opening of two new franchise locations - Farmington and Augusta - in our home state of Maine, continuing a tradition that began in 1902 and is still going strong.

Farmington

The first of the two new stores - an Amato's Xpress - is located inside Tranten's Market in downtown Farmington, Maine. We were recently welcomed to town by our newest franchisees, the Tranten brothers, and other local dignitaries with an official "Sandwich Cutting" - our version of a ribbon cutting.

Stop by and visit us at 180 Main Street, Farmington, or call ahead at 778-2299 and we'll have your order ready for pick-up. Check out the menu here.

Augusta

Our next new store in located is Augusta at 34 Western Avenue, just around the corner from the Statehouse. We're not saying we're lobbying to have The Amato's Original named as the official Maine State Sandwich ... but it's not a bad idea.
We look forward to serving the Augusta community with our delicious selection of pizza, pasta, sandwiches and much, much more.

Stop in next time you're in town or call ahead and we'll have your order ready to go. Call 620-1120. Here's the menu.
